ESI has its State of the Art ship simulator located at the Centre of Technical Excellence (CENTEXS) Kuching, Sarawak for the purpose of education, research, consultancy and training especially dedicated to port, maritime and shipping related-studies. ESI is the pioneer company in the conduct of Marine Traffic Risk Analysis (MTRA) in Malaysia and its ship simulator centre is registered with the Sarawak River Board for the conduct of MTRA.
ESI’s in-house ship simulator is capable of either fast track and real-time sessions. The real time session allows real representation to the pilots and/or mariners on the visual and other information such as coastline, and overhead bridge as well as aids to navigation and port navigational channels and associated facilities.
